Pepsi MidAmerica Salutes Our Nation’s Veterans
During National Salute to Veteran Patients Week, Pepsi MidAmerica took the opportunity to show their appreciation for those who have served in the military by reaching out to veterans at the VA Hospital in Marion, Illinois.
A dedicated team, including Clayton Wilson, Tina Eddington, Taylor McDermott, Catherine Harbison, and Dave Davis, set up a patriotic display just inside the main entrance of the hospital. The team generously handed out nearly 150 single cans of soda and 25 – 12 pack shrink-wrapped bottles, ensuring that veterans and hospital visitors felt appreciated and supported. To further show gratitude, the team created a giant card for the veterans, along with miniature versions for individuals to take home. Visitors to the table were able to choose from a variety of goodies, including hats, keychains, lanyards, and other items.
The gesture left no doubt in the minds of all who passed by that Pepsi MidAmerica is deeply committed to supporting and thanking our nation’s veterans for their service and sacrifice.
